University of Windsor students may need to find alternative ways to get to class, with the possibility of a looming transit strike on Monday.

The University of Windsor’s Student Alliance (UWSA) posted on its Instagram page, “rest assured that we are actively working on a solution if the strike occurs and will keep you informed of any new information.”

The UWSA is encouraging students to prepare for alternate transportation arrangements ahead of the potential strike.

UWindsor students have already started to notice some transit delays, but other factors could have contributed to this.

Rohan, an undergraduate student at the University of Windsor said, “bus did not show up at the scheduled time and I still waited for 20 more minutes, however, no bus showed up.”

This impacts members of the UWSA, Graduate Student Society, and the Ontario Part-Time Student Society who hold a Universal Bus Pass.
