For students, athletes, and fans alike, a hockey arena situated near campus isn’t just a convenience—it’s a game-changer. The University of Windsor Lancers Men and Women’s hockey teams make their home the Capri Pizzeria Recreation Complex, a City of Windsor-owned facility located more than 5 kilometres south of campus. Moving home ice closer to campus is a conversation that has been danced around and needs to be taken seriously.

The men’s basketball team were within five points of a trip to the U Sports Championships in 2022-23. In basketball terms, that’s a whisker-thin margin. That was a 16-6 team. A team with credentials. Rookies Rising While Veterans are Shining: An Opening Serve to the Women’s Volleyball Season

That’s the difference this year’s University of Windsor Lancers women’s volleyball team would like to see, led by returning veterans and promising rookies. The Lancers are off to a hot start this season with a 4-0 start, thanks to back-to-back wins over the Toronto Metropolitan University Bold and the Lakehead Thunderwolves – all on home court.
