UWindsor students head to the polls to elect their Undergraduate Student Alliance.  The general elections for the UWSA (the University of Windsor Student Alliance) representing all full-time undergraduate students including the Schulich School of Medicine, the Faculty of Law, and Teachers College- are now underway. UWindsor Afrofest Coordinator hopes to build a community that lasts not only during Black History Month but beyond.   Afrofest is a celebration of the African diaspora which has been held at the UWindsor Campus for the last 16 years. Resilience in the Return: How Lancer Athletes are Preparing to Restart the Competition Season

Student-athletes can resume training. As of January 31, the province started to lift the lockdown restrictions; including the reopening of gyms. For over a month, both Lancer athletes, as well as athletes across the OUA, had to put a pause on their respective seasons as a consequence of the shutdown in late December. Numb to the News: How We Become Desensitized in Wake of Tragic Events

The news of the shooting at Oxford High School, a suburb of Detroit, Mi. flashed across headlines last month. Ethan Crumble, a 15-year-old sophomore had taken a gun to school and fired several rounds before being taken into custody by police. By then, he had already killed 3 students and injured 7 others.
