Windsor Artist Exchange is Providing Monthly Networking Opportunities to All Local Artists

Windsor Artist Exchange wants to invite all artists, filmmakers, and creatives alike to their monthly artist meet-ups and workshops. Once a month, Windsor Artist Exchange hosts workshops, networking nights, and more for all local Windsor-Essex artists as a way to connect and bring the community together. Kaitlyn Karns, the events organizer, says that each month focuses on a different set of resources and ideas for local artists. Maria Mediratta: From UWindsor student to Successful Artist

Maria Mediratta (she/her) is a 25-year-old freelance artist and educator who has been working in Windsor's Arts & Culture sector for approximately five years. In early March, the Art Gallery of Windsor (AGW) announced that Maria would be one of three emerging artists to participate in the Emerging Artist Residency program generously sponsored by the WindsorEssex Community Foundation.
